The journey of Badeku Global Missionary Society began with a divine encounter that would change everything. In 1981, our founder experienced a dramatic transformation that marked the beginning of a lifelong commitment to spreading God's kingdom.
After years in the secular music industry, specifically juju music, the call to serve Christ became undeniable. In 1985, our founder made the bold decision to leave behind the world of entertainment and answer God's call to ministry.
The transition from secular music to full-time ministry officially began on September 1, 1985, marking the start of a new chapter dedicated entirely to kingdom advancement. This wasn't just a career change—it was a complete surrender to God's purpose.
The specific calling to rural missions crystallized on January 30, 1988, when God directed our founder to Badeku. This small community would become the launching pad for what would grow into a movement reaching over 100 villages and rural communities across Nigeria and beyond.
Today, BGMS stands as a testament to God's faithfulness, having reached countless souls in remote areas where the gospel light was desperately needed. Our journey from a single divine encounter to a global missionary movement continues to inspire and transform lives.
